In the last post of this blog series we're finally wrapping up the teams who achieved maximum success using Sport Scope Endzone Cameras and EDGE Replay Sideline Instant Replay. Here are even more 2019 Championship teams who benefitted from Sport Scope products:
Central High School of Fresno
Coach Jeff Klein out of Central High School of Fresno, CA had great things to say about his experience with EDGE Replay and Sport Scope customer service. This was the program's first state football championship ever!
We have been using the EDGE Replay System for the last two seasons and the system has contributed to our success. Our previous system was stolen mid-season last year. That company couldn’t help us. The team at Sport Scope not only got us what we needed. We had it the next day.
This year we played our way to the California State D1AA Championships. On Tuesday before the Friday Finals, we had wiring issues with the end zone camera. We called the company and came up with a plan Wednesday morning. We were leaving Thursday morning so they overnighted a new part to our hotel. It worked perfectly.
We had perfect EDGE Replay capabilities and are now STATE CHAMPIONS! We highly recommend Sport Scope products and commend the customer support, we plan to be a customer for the foreseeable future.
North Carolina Champions
East Forsyth won the 4A State Championship title game for the second year in a row! And the last two games of the season were certainly nail bitters!
The semifinal game against Grimsley was barely won at 21-20. And the championship game was played at the Kenan Stadium of UNC-Chapel Hill where the Tarheels play, and East Forsyth barely edged out Cardinal Gibbons with a close 24-21 final score. What a way to end the season!
The Eagles use the 30’ Smart End Zone Camera and EDGE 2-View Replay system for their video needs.
Reidsville won the 2A State Championship title on a great defensive game! They played at BB&T Field of Wake Forest University and this is their second straight title. The Rams own and use the 30’ Smart Endzone Camera and EDGE 2-View Sideline Replay.
East Surry won the 1AA Division State Title for the first time ever! It was payback after Tarboro beat them out in the championship game last year. East Surry also snapped Tarboro’s 44-game winning streak, which was the 4th longest active streak in the entire country! And after an undefeated season it was a storybook ending.
The final game was in Wallace Wade Stadium of Duke University. The team used the Sport Scope 20’ Smart Endzone Camera & EDGE Replay 2-View. Duke actually worked with us directly to ensure they had the perfect set up prior to the game. Athletic Director Randy Marion said the system was flawless and worked perfectly.
Sport Scope has been a tremendous asset to our football program. It has allowed us to make timely adjustments on the sideline by using the instant replay. I also wanted to let you know that the system worked flawlessly at our State Championship Game in Wallace Wade Stadium at Duke University. I was a little concerned since it was the first time we had used it in a large stadium but we didn't have any problems. The video was downloaded to the sideline iPads immediately. Please feel free to contact me if you ever need any recommendations for your system. Thank you once again for being a big part of our 2019 State Championship Football season!
Huge Florida Wins!
Miami Northwestern High School finished with a 3-Peat for it’s 5A Championship title beating another Sport Scope team: Jones High School. They played in the Daytona Stadium. Northwestern uses the 30’ Automatic Endzone Camera and EDGE 2-View Replay. Jones High School uses the Smart Endzone Camera and EDGE 2-View Replay. Congrats to these champions and runner-ups!
St. Thomas Aquinas won the 7A State Championship using our 30’ Smart Camera and EDGE Replay 2-View. They also played in the Daytona Stadium. The Raiders then went on to play in the Geico State Champions Bowl series and won!!! St. Thomas Aquinas is now the Geico NATIONAL CHAMPIONS! USA Today went on to rank them 2nd in the nation!
Columbus High School won the State 8A Championship, another first time State Title! Prior to 2019 they had made it to the title game four times, but never won. Until this year with 2 touchdowns in the final 3:25 of the game Columbus took the 'W' by a single point!! This was the third Florida team to play in the Daytona Stadium and they used our 30' Automatic Endzone Camera and Sideline Replay System: the EDGE 2-View Replay.
Cedar Grove High School
Cedar Grove out of Georgia are back-to-back 2018 & 2019 AAA State Champions! For game film and replay they used our 30’ Sport Scope Automatic End Zone Camera and EDGE Replay with 3-point wireless network. Coach Michael Martin had this to say about his experience:
Our sideline replay system was able to function in Mercedes-Benz Stadium when some other replay systems were not working and I think having replay available was a big help in winning a very close state championship game.
Overall, we could not be happier with the service, support, and professionalism of the folks at Sport Scope and we're even more pleased with the performance of their products.
