Instant Replay is Automatic
With the Sport Scope Smart Camera, you'll use our custom app to connect to the system's private network. From there, you can control your Smart Endzone Camera and the recording for all EDGE Replay devices.
Using the Smart Endzone Camera, when you select record, not only is this recording downloaded to the camera's memory card in the traditional way, but the replay is also automatic. The same amazing EDGE technology we've used for years for Sideline Replay is built into the Smart Camera system. So any other EDGE devices connected to the Smart Camera's network are activated simultaneously when you select record from the iPad. This means one person can control the Smart Endzone Camera from the on screen iPad controls and whenever he selects "record" the replay for all connected camera angles happens automatically. This is what makes the Smart Camera very literally a two-in-one system.
Control Multiple Cameras
If you own two Smart Camera systems, then you can reduce your film staff by even more! With a Smart Endzone Camera system tower and an additional Wireless Smart Camera on a normal tripod in the Press Box, you can control both cameras from a single iPad! So if your coach is only interested in the snap from the End Zone View, then simply go to that live view and move the camera into position. Then, switch back to the Press Box View and follow the play once it starts. Or vice versa.
Once again, because our system is on a single network, when you activate the record button you're simultaneously recording both cameras to your iPad AND to the camera's memory cards! This means all your clips are always synced perfectly. Play #33 from the End Zone View will match perfectly with Play #33 from the Press Box View both in position and in length. Just like with EDGE, this makes Intercut in Hudl a breeze!
On Screen Tagging and Easy Auto-tagging
As mentioned previously, the EDGE instant replay service is built into the Smart Camera system and the Sport Scope Smart Camera iPad app. However, now ODK tagging is even easier. On screen buttons allow the filmer to easily tag the play as offense, defense, or kick right before or as the play is happening. Of course, you can always change the ODK tag of the play afterwards as well.
Additionally, at any time in between plays the operator can perform more in-depth tagging for down and distance, pass/run, quarter, custom tags, and more! The interface is incredibly intuitive and is truly auto-tagging because each new play automatically remembers your position on the correct line of scrimmage with the correct down and distance to go based on the previous play tags. And the more you auto-tag, the more the coach has powerful predictive statistics of his opponent's tendencies right at his fingertips. These in-game stats can influence the entire outcome of a football game in a clutch moment.
